To give you a sense of our history, Ambassador Travel was established in 1974 and purchased by Diana Young and Peter Bruckmann in 1989. As a traditional agency, Ambassador’s dedication to customer service was far from ordinary. Ambassador was voted “The Best Travel Agency in Abbotsford” nine times by Abbotsford Times newspaper readers and was honored with the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce’s Business Excellence Award.

Early in 2002, the progressive management of Ambassador Travel entered the world of Internet sales with the assistance of International Internet Advertising Services (iias). The new age business strategy and technical expertise of this proficient team catapulted the local service provider into a major player in the North American travel sales industry.

In 2003, Ambassador Travel received an award for Most Improved Agency and since 2004, has been one of the Top 10 travel agencies in North America. In 2006, a merger between Ambassador Travel and Internet Advertising transitioned the strategic alliance to a fully integrated partnership that is now uniquely positioned in the travel industry.
